I caught this beauty a few years ago.  I’ve seen these little bullet shaped things on the hoods of vintage cars but I have no idea what they do.  Possible uses:

-Extra streamlinin  for increased speed/fuel efficiency

-Concealed machine gun location(bond edition only)

-You know, for kids!
