If there has ever been a worse structure designed for the holding of large gatherings I would like to see it. A disaster in every way imaginable it reamins a substantial blight on the city. It manages to be enormous and yet not at all celebratory or grand. If you can imagine the opposite of architecture, this is it. It’s hardly even worth mentioning that it’s located in the middle of nowhere and once you’re inside you get to be held hostage to cartel of vendors just waiting for your blood sugar to dip so they can ply you with twenty five dollar hot dogs.

I caught this beauty a few years ago. I’ve seen these little bullet shaped things on the hoods of vintage cars but I have no idea what they do. Possible uses:

-Extra streamlinin for increased speed/fuel efficiency

-Concealed machine gun location(bond edition only)

-You know, for kids!

Seen on my neighbor’s stoop. They also have two men in another flower pot, but I couldn’t get a good shot without looking like a peeping tom. Something about a fully extended zoom lens pointing in the window makes people nervous.

The note in the background says “please don’t touch…these are expensive.”

Good luck charm? Voodoo doll for speeders? Ironically, this car probably has not moved in twenty years. It’s part of the impromptu car museum at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge. You can sort of see the reflection of the bridge in the window if you squint. Definitely one of my favorites.
